Adequate planning and preparation is pivotal to the successful function of any communication facility. This is particularly so in the case of remotely located communication sites which are influenced by a wide variety of natural and man-made variables. We offer a full range of technical evaluations to determine the suitability of proposed site locations based on anticipated signal coverage, solar charge availability, wind loading on antennas, user and service access, etc. We conduct initial desktop analysis that forecasts the theoretical suitability of the chosen site followed by on-site evaluation and testing. This done, the final installation can proceed with confidence.

Austec is equipped to carry out full installation services anywhere in Australia. We have extensive experience in performing equipment installations in the most remote and inaccessible locations from Bass Strait oil and gas fields, remote mine and oil drilling sites in west Queensland and WA, to the Highlands of Papua New Guinea.

Austec provides a comprehensive range of on-site service options for routine preventative maintenance programmes as well as fault rectification and repairs. Our field service teams are fully equipped with an extensive range of spares and materials to quickly and efficiently restore operation to critical communication facilities. In addition to standard “time and materials” service we also offer a range of fixed price maintenance contracts.
